About
Good Grief works individually with clients to acknowledge what has been and prepare for life on the other side of loss.
We offer two tailored coaching programs.
Meet the founder
A native Charlottean, Nick believes there is a better way to do the harder parts of life.
After completing undergrad at Western Carolina and a master’s degree at Gardner-Webb, Nick undertook the hard work of being a non-anxious presence in a world perpetually teetering on chaos. His experience in healthcare and hospice settings provide Nick the unique skillset to explore the pains of life.
Recognizing how traditional care systems allow space to process, but rarely do they provide the tools to move you forward, Nick wants more for his clients: a place to ACKNOWLEDGE those emotions, a tailored plan to HELP you navigate life and prepare you to ACHIEVE what you once thought impossible.
We recognize that there are many kinds of grief.
Grief is insidious and inconvenient, revealing itself in unexpected moments. While it can involve loss, grief is also unrealized dreams, the path not taken, regret. Good Grief supports clients in all stages and circumstances of grief, including:
Death of a loved one
Medical diagnosis
End of a relationship or divorce
Reproductive grief
Retirement or loss of purpose
Vocational grief
Loss of a pet
Familial sacrifices
and more
We’re here to acknowledge your grief, tailor a plan to help you navigate your new chapter, and prepare you to achieve what you once thought impossible.
